Volunteer with Fresh Roots!
Are you looking to take your first steps into the world of urban farming or support schoolyard-grown produce? Do you want to learn how to grow your own, or share your existing knowledge with our farm? Whatever the case may be, we’d love to have you join our weekly drop-in Garden Helpers crew!

That’s right, volunteer season is back! Our farms have sprung into spring and with a busy season ahead of us, we’re excited to harness the help of our community members! Whether you’re a returning volunteer or totally new to Fresh Roots, our Garden Helper shifts are a fun and dynamic opportunity to get involved with schoolyard farms, get outside and grow your gardening skills.

This year, we’ll be using a program called Volunteer Spot to manage our sign-ups online. To join a volunteer shift, simply create an account and then select the shifts you’d like to attend from the list. Email: volunteer
