So what was going on at Granview Park tonight before dark?

On the way to Granview Park we discovered one of the best sandwich boards I have ever seen. An effective and slightly hilarious ad for a Commercial Drive tattoo parlor.

So what was going on at Granview Park tonight before dark? Well it consisted of adult tree climbing of heights of up to 15 feet, multiple times, to remove a pink hula hoop that somehow managed to keep getting stuck, classic bike polo, teenagers blinging up the cement stage with colourful chalk drawings, and the beginning beats of a drum circle wanting to happen. Lots of excitement in the air as the nice sunny weather is enjoyed outdoors by all.
