Ships to Shore: Canada Day Festivities in Richmond, June 29 – July 1, 2014

Daily from June 29, 2014 to July 1, 2014, Richmond, BC’s popular Ships to Shore Festival is back. This annual event runs June 29 to July 1, 2014 and celebrates the rich maritime history of picturesque Steveston, the home-port of Canada’s largest fishing fleet. A flotilla of tall ships, other sailing vessels sail into Steveston and offer free viewings and boardings as the seaside village relives the days when it was a major port-of-call for fleets of sailing ships from around the world. Ships to Shore coincides with the extraordinarily popular Steveston Salmon Festival – one of Canada’s longest running and most beloved Canada Day celebrations, offering a full three days of free events and activities for all ages.
