Talking Hands at Mountain View Cemetery

FREE | No registration required

Working with artist Shirley Wiebe, explore how personal hand gestures and words can be combined to create an image using only handwritten text. Inspired by the diminished practice of printing and writing by hand, this workshop takes texting and emoticons back to their origins. Participants will create word-based drawings by ‘filling in’ a projected enlargement of their own hand gesture on paper. Take away a personal manifesto!
